Mission: Mtbc was founded with one true goal in mind; teaching the world to understand and appreciate the vital contributions bats make to human beings and the world we live in.
Programs: Bat scan project - scanning and archiving original collection of 73,000 slides of bats in order to make them downloadable, royalty-free, in support of non-profit education and conservation efforts in perpetuity.
provided bat conservation-relevant lectures and media interviews in the u. S. , trinidad, and taiwan, reaching large audiences. Also provided advice at an environmental leadership meeting hosted by the vatican in italy.
in trinidad we trained 25 people from four countries for nearly month, provided a keynote address for a teachers workshop in the u. S. We also provided conservation training for three weeks in taiwan and provided conservation advice for hundreds of individuals and organizations worldwide.
