I learned about the Mennonite Central Committee through my husband. The organization is always present when there is a disaster and helps with recovery by sending volunteers to the area to rebuild homes, churches, etc. The work is worldwide and the results are astounding. New schools, homes, water wells, agricultural education, etc. Administrative overhead is minimal so donations go to the most in need.
