My 3 y.o. daughter had a severe delay in speech. The center provided her with speech therapy and a play group. They treated my daughter like she was their own not like a client or a number. The Center has been wonderful to our family.

My granddaughter has been involved with the Schwartz Center for almost 10 years. I have never seen a more dedicated group of people. She has speech therapy, OT and Physical therapy visits weekly. The progress she has made is phenomenal. While her abilities are somewhat limited, I feel the attention and dedication she has received from her therapist has made her confident in all she does. There is no way to ever thank them for what they have done and continue to do.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Schwartz Center. I was so moved by the commitment of the staff, the warm and caring atmosphere, the physical setting, the stimulating materials, and the strong sense of encouragement. The Philanthropy and Marketing Associate, Lauren Moreau, shared a story about one of her family members who would have benefited so much from a school such as this. But people were treated so differently then, and they didn't know how much a child could grow and how much potential they had. It was a very inspiring visit.

My son has been going to the Schwartz Center for 5 years. The staff is like family! My son has grown by leaps and bounds. With the help of the staff, we were able to get my son to eat safely and was able to have his feeding tube removed. He is doing well with all the therapies and help he receives. We are now working on walking! It is great that they also work with Dr. Webster, Communication Enhancement, Brace Clinics and other outreach programs. My son had gone to another school first and I could never see myself sending him to any other school.

This Center does amazing things for the children being taken care of there. The employees along with the families take amazing care of the children there and offer so many things for the kids. They are up 24 hours a day baking deserts for them and they provide so many activies. This is a truly inspirational house!

Currently, I am a volunteer at the Schwartz Center for Children. Following nineteen years of serving on the Board of Directors both as a member and president, I now volunteer directly with the children and classroom teachers. This organization provides a kind, loving, caring effective atmosphere for the youngsters. Each child is an individual here, and each step forward is lauded. Hallways are filled with people who are smiling. and attitudes that pervade the Center. When I leave this fine organization, I feel uplifted, but miss both the children and their teachers when I don't see them.

I worked for many years as the Director of Disabled Students at Southeastern Massachusetts University, currently UMass Dartmouth. My co-worker was a woman with Cerebral Palsy who progressed from Schwartz to earn both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her beginnings at Schwartz enabled her to fulfill its mission as she reached her great potential.

My son has been attending The Schwartz Center for almost 2 years. He has made tremendous strides since he started. I believe it is not only the abundant availability of the various therapies, but the warm, caring way every member of the staff treats each individual child. My son loves going to school and regardless of who greets him in the morning he always greets them back with a big smile and laughter. I also see how the other children are treated and how they respond to the staff when I'm at the school and it really warms my heart. This school goes far, far above and beyond what is "required". A big THANK YOU to all the staff!!!!

My daughter started services with Early Intervention through the Schwartz Center last year. Words cannot express my gratitude to each and every member of the team there at the center. Each and every person that works there gives 110% every day, and it shows through their smiles, kindness, expertise, and patience with each child and family they serve. My daughter went to group at the center once a week and was excited to go each time. Through interactive play and the strategies we've learned my daughter has progressed very quickly. We also had home visits once a week with "Miss Christina" which have been unbelievably helpful and fun. My daughter recently turned three, so services with EI had to come to and end. However, I was so pleased with the work being done at Schwartz and the loving atmosphere, that I have enrolled my son, eighteen months old, in a toddler group as a community child at the Center.

My daughter has been attending the Schwartz Center for several years and absolutely loves going every day. The services they provide are exceptional and the warm and caring staff are one of a kind. Can't say enough about this school. The oupatient clinics are also great and it helps to not have to drive to Boston to get these services.
