Mission: Meeting physical & spiritual needs
Programs: Locally, we are reaching out to the needy in the bryan/college station area by assisting the bridge ministries, facilitating a free medical clinic twice a month. We help to facilitate another free clinic in college station where we see patients once a month. We are seeing over 30 patients in each one. We now have more doctors and more volunteers to help at both locations. Internationally, we made 2 trips to nigeria and 1 trip to scotland and another to london, canada. On the first trip to nigeria we went to port harcourt and took 2 suitcases of donated medical supplies and saw about 100 patients and did many surgeries. In june of 2014, we were able to ship the long awaited 40-ft container of medical and orphanage supplies to kaduna, nigeria. On the second trip to nigeria we went to kaduna where we off- loaded the medical supplies that were shipped there to start the mercy home hospital and plans were made for the expansion of the hospital to 26 beds. We were able to see only a few patients on that trip, but did much ministry in churches. In scotland we ministered in 4 churches and many lives were touched. In london, canada we ministered at the annual conference of redeemed christian church and many lives were encouraged. Two other trips to nigeria wer cancelled due to the ebola scare that affected so many lives in august, and violent outbreaks of the boko haram militant islamic group who did the kidnapping of over 250 girls as well as many other kidnappings and bombings.
