Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services, Immigrants' Rights
Mission: Masisi Pou Sikse Masisi Inc. is a nonprofit organization created to help support the Immigrant LGBTQIA+ Community. Our goal is to help provide the Immigrant LGBTQIA+ with the help they need to live a dignified and respectable life. And this encompasses helping them through education, Counseling, finding temporary housing if/when necessary, assisting with finding food drive when the time calls for it; and finally helping them with possible asylum and/or immigration services. We aim to show our presence not only in Florida USA.
Results: Have been able to link our Immigrant LGBTQIA+ Haitians to free emergency counseling. Helped with directing HIV positive patients find resources needed to ensure they stay healthy. Worked with Social workers into aiding for the resettlement of gays persecuted in Haiti for their sexual orientation.
