Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment
Mission: To provide primary prevention level educational programs designed to keep the general population from becoming part of or contributing to an existing population of alcohol and drug abusers. It is also to develop and provide in and out-patient treatment facilities for chronic alcohol and drug abusers, the purpose of which is rehabilitation of the individual and the return of such individuals to the general population with the ability to avoid further involvement with alcohol and drug abuse; to provide for such individuals post-treatment support.

Provides high quality, low cost, gender specific addictive disease and co-occurring sub-acute detoxification and residential services at its 76 bed williamstown, nj location. Maryville is licensed by the nj department of mental health and substance abuse services and accredited by the commission on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities. The facility provides 24-hour, 7 day a week observation, intervention, monitoring and treatment by licensed medical personnel, rns, and counseling staff. Psychiatric evaluation, medication monitoring and treatment is provided through advanced practice nurses for those with mental health disorders. Maryville provides a safe environment utilizing evidence based practices, providing outcomes that are measurable and positive, both medically and clinically.

The law states that all persons who have been sentenced as first-time offenders must be detained for a minimum of six hours on two consecutive days.
