I am beginning my third year as a trustee of Mary's Place. My journey began at the very beginning when I heard Michele and Maria make a presentation to our Rotary Club about the life-changing programs and initiatives being offered to woman living with cancer. As a trustee I have seen first hand how many women's lives have been enriched because of Mary's Place. We continue to provide cutting edge care, and I am proud to be a part of this incredible organization!

You have cancer are 3 words that changed my life and changes every woman who hear those words. Once the panic subsides and the plan is put in place, then comes the fatigue and overwhelming sense of “I can’t do all of this”. And then, you find out about Mary’s Place. As a guest you are embraced in love, care, kindness and new friends that will laugh with you, cry with you and share stories with you. When it is time to leave, you have found new strength and hope.
MPBTS is my miracle for so many different reasons. If you know any woman going through this life altering disease, share the mission of Mary’s Place and make her journey a little more palatable,

From the outset of my involvement as a board member, I have witnessed first hand the positive impact that Mary's Place by the Sea has on the lives of our guests. My participation in this great venture is a privilege and a life-enriching reward. Mary's Place has provided services to over 5000 women who have been receiving treatment for cancer, at no cost to them. These integrative services provide our guests rest and support during this challenging time in their lives. They are empowered with knowledge that will aid them on their road to healing. Mary's Place will open a new home in early 2016 that will be handicapped accessible and significantly expanded capacity. Moms, daughters, sisters, neighbors, best friends: these are the guests of Mary's Place. Please visit the website to learn more. https://www.marysplacebythesea.org/welcome
