Mission: Mariners Inn provides compassionate, professional shelter and substance abuse treatment for homeless people and assist them in gaining their independence, health, dignity and self-esteem.

Programs: The residential treatment program services men who are homeless, at least 18 years of age, and chemically dependent by providing approximately 81 beds and up to 90 days of treatment.

the transitional housing program provides a supportive, semi-independent living experience to men who successfully complete the residential treatment program. The men receive living space and meals in a recovering community of sober men for a period of usually six months and up to two years. The program also gives these men the opportunity to work on all aspects of their total recovery from substance abuse and homelessness. Each individual works on his own specific goals (i. E. , his particular way of being self-sufficient) established with the assistance of the transitional housing staff.

the mariners extended residency program provides an alcohol-free and drug-free residential environment in which men are offered living space and meals in a recovering community for an initial period of up to two years. The program provides permanent housing for homeless men with disabilities and is based on the principles of the 12-step recovery model for substance abuse.

the vocational training program greatly enhances employment opportunities for the organization's residents by improving their communication skills, self-esteem, and job knowledge.
