Mission: Administration of the humanitarian aid, scholarship and youth fund programs.
Programs: Award scholarhips to qualfied recipients as determined by the marine corps league scholarship committee. For the year ending april 30, 2017 134 scholarships totaling $68,500 were awarded. Provided a $6,500 grant to the marine military academy for scholarships.
provide humanitarian aide to marines and familes of marines who are in difficult situations. This year 10 individuals and families were assisted.
supports the educational activities of the young marines of the marine corps league and the youth physical fitness program of the marine corps league. Both of these programs have been widely recognized as being very effective in the area of drug prevention and character development. The young marine of the year is awarded recognition in the form of funds to further their education. The youth physical fitness national team competition is held annually in san diego and top scoring male and female teams and individuals are recognized with cash awards.
disaster relief - provide assistance to 5 marines and their familes who have experienced a natural disaster - $9,655. Provided grant to childrens organ transplant association - $2,000.
