Mission: Since 1987, the Love Link, Inc. has been serving the malnourished and the often forgotten babies of El Salvador by bringing them to their rightful place in society and restoring them to their families. This work began after the death of Karla Francisca Salmeron who was 14 months old and weighed only nine pounds. The seed that was planted in the hearts of Sam & Julie Hawkins bore fruit, and today over 1,100 children are living and doing well.
Sam and Julie are the real deal, pouring themselves into the lives of the most vulnerable in El Salvador.
Whether it be a severely malnourished baby or a prisoner, their love and care is transformational.
