Mission: The mission of the lititz public library is to provide materials, services, and programs for educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment to residents of lititz borough, warwick township, and elizabeth township.
Programs: The library was open to the public 60 hours each week and provided access to over 76,000 books, audiobooks, e-books, e-audiobooks, films and music cds for use by the public at no charge. These items were borrowed over 432,000 times. Three library staff members hold a professional masters-level degree. Library staff provided outreach services for homebound readers and early literacy programs in preschools. Approximately 129 volunteers provided a variety of essential services. Public internet computers were used over 14,000 times and there were over 8,400 logins. Over 16,000 adults, teens and children attended approximately 610 library programs, including storytimes, stem activities for youth, book and film discussions, informational presentations and special events. The library partnered with over 50 schools and organizations. Friends of the library activities included used book sales and a fundraising bus trip.
