Causes: Education, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: Literacy volunteers of fauquier county (lvfc) exists to improve the reading, writing, basic communication, study and computer skills of adults in fauquier county va, and to promote learning as a fundamental goal shared by all family members.
Programs: Workplace literacy: help adults identify employment opportunities, write resumes, learn interview and job skills
computer literacy: help adults establish basic computer skills using microsoft office products
esl: help non-native adults learn to effectively read and write english
other program services offered consist of income tax preparation assistance, in conjunction with the irs vita program.
