Mission: Literacy Council of Benton County is a non-profit agency increasing Adult English literacy by developing volunteer tutors to teach adult students to read because Literacy Changes Lives.
Target demographics: adults learn to read
Direct beneficiaries per year: four students earn their US citizenship, six students entered the workforce for the first time, four students met their goal to increase their income and over 200 students used our services.
Geographic areas served: Bentonville, AR
Programs: Adult Basic Literacy and English as a Second Language.
