Programs: School lease: during this tax year, lila building company leased four buildings to lakes international language academy as follows: 1) 65,000 square feet at 246 11th ave. Se, forest lake, called the lower school; 2) 9500 square feet at 121 11th ave. Se, forest lake, called the annex; 3) 40,000 square feet at 19850 fenway ave. N, forest lake, called the headwaters campus, constructed in 2014, and 4) starting in fall 2016, a small single-family residence on a half-acre next to the annex, called the house. The school uses the residence to house international teachers and has placed a preschool play structure in the yard for easy access by the annex preschool classrooms. The building company also rented 3000 s. F. At the lower school to an ambulance service until the termination of their lease on 12/31/16, at which time it rented the 3000 s. F. To the school. The building company has no paid employees, and about five volunteers: those who serve on its board, those who help review the form 990 tax filing, and school administrators.
