Mission: To provide and promote free and affordable civil legal assistance, advocacy and justice for low-income people and communities in new jersey.
Programs: The statewide legal services system coordinated by legal services of new jersey (lsnj) provided direct representation in 45,000 legal cases in 2017. In addition to its direct representation, an estimated 1. 5 million more were assisted through web and hard copy legal information, clinics, and other legal education activities. Lsnj also engaged in coordination, support, amicus, assistance and related activities, consistent with and in service of this mission.
