Mission: The mission of the lawrence hopewell trail (lht) corporation is to draw on community resources to develop, maintain, and encourage the use of a 20+ plus mile multi-purpose trail that promotes health and recreation and reduces the reliance on automobiles.
Programs: Lht's primary program is to guide and administer development of the 20+ mile trail know as the lawrence-hopewell trail through mercer county, new jersey. Lht acts primarily as the administrators of the project: coordinating goals and activities, raising funds, and providing outreach on educational opportunities related to the trail. Trail construction continued during 2014, with 85% having been completed. Plans are in place for the design and construction of the reaminder of the trail.
