Escuelita is a great preschool, and there are a lot of great preschools in my area. My daughter went here during her "gap year"; she was five but her birthday didn't make the school district cut off for kindergarten. None of us speak Spanish, but I thought it would be good for her to be challenged. She had a hard time for the first two weeks, but after that she made some friends, got to do things she enjoyed, and was never forced to speak Spanish or drilled on vocabulary. She just came home one day singing Spanish songs, and that's when I knew they had won her over. They took walks and explored the local park, sang songs, and made adorable drawings with her, all the while surrounding my daughter in Spanish and love. We will never forget our experience at La Escuelita Arcoiris.
