Causes: Crime & Law, Half-Way Houses for Offenders & Ex-Offenders
Mission: To establish and maintain a facility to care for, educate, and vocationally train boys who manifest emotional-behavioral problems and social-learning problems, and who are placed with the facility by the oregon youth authority of the state of oregon.
Programs: Rehabilitation -- 14 delinquent boys ages 15 through 18 years of age at a time. All are court wards of the state of oregon with custody transferred to the oregon youth authority. Total of 23 boys placed during the fye ended 6/30/14. Federal child nutrition and state funds by contract agreements.
remedial education -- remedial private alternative school. Tutoring one-on-one for the same boys identified in service 4a above. Federal title 1 grant and local school district tuition funds. Acredited with the northwest association of schools and colleges. Academic school credits earned for boys returning to public school. Ged certificates earned by boys not finishing public high school.
vocationally train -- training and exposure to various work skills and vocations for the same boys identified in service 4a above. Only private funds received and/or expended for this service.
