Causes: Adult & Child Matching Programs, Children & Youth
Mission: Kinship of polk county works to improve the quality of a childs life by establishing a relationship with a caring mentor for the purpose of promoting stability support, friendship and community.
Programs: Kinship managed a total of 364 community-based and school-based matches, serving a total of 320 children. Some of the children in the program participated in both school and community based mentoring. Kinship mentors were married, single, male, female, high school and adult aged volunteers who contributed a combined total of 9,244 volunteer hours.
