Mission: Kids Love Writing is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to helping kids fall in love with writing. Students who struggle with writing face persistent challenges in school and their careers. Kids who love writing will write more, become better writers, and position themselves for better futures.
Target demographics: Kids Love Writing is devoted to helping kids fall in love with writing.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2015, Adventures in Writing Camp helped kids fall in love with writing at 23 locations in CA and NV.
Geographic areas served: California and Nevada, with more locations being added all the time!
Programs: Kids Love Writing's young writers skills camp "Adventures in Writing Camp" offers creative writing programs for elementary and middle-school kids. The program is designed to inspire reluctant writers and delight those that already have “the bug”. By helping students create their own books in a fun, inclusive environment, we provide young people positive, confidence-building experiences with writing.
