Causes: Food, Food Banks & Pantries
Mission: Kids fighting hunger, inc. Engages the community of central minnesota to provide temporary hunger relief or help where it is needed. We will engage the community through education, partnerships and volunteerism.
Programs: The organization packages a dry soy, vegetable, and rice mixture to be distributed locally and internationally to prevent hunger and starvation. The organization had 47 packaging sessions utilizing 3,511 volunteers. They packaged 2,829 boxes of food and 638,049 meals were packaged and distributed to starving men, women and children throughout the world.
