I served two tours as a paratrooper in eastern Afghanistan in 2009 and 2011. After leaving the Army, I have struggled with TBI, PTSD, and Depression and am a suicide survivor. I lost my dog and best friend, “Smoke", over Christmas of last year. I live alone and Smoke and I did everything together. After he was gone, every time I thought of him I felt such sorrow and loneliness. When David called me and told me I had been accepted into his service dog program, I was so happy I cried.

In March of this year, I received my service dog, a golden retriever. I named him “Copper.” He is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen and I love him so much. I simply cannot explain how wonderful K9 Care has been to me. David and his team are remarkable. The degree of support that I have received during my short amount of time in his program is extraordinary: K9 Care has fully funded all veterinary, food, and training costs. In addition, when I picked up Copper, I was sent home with a really nice kennel, food, dog treats, and a very generous “puppy package” of really nice toys, leashes, collars, and other supplies.

In addition to the financial help, K9 Care has been incredibly supportive of Copper and me. David has driven down multiple times to check on Copper and observe his puppy training first hand. He and his team have been there with us at every step of the way reminding me to “Stay in the Fight!”. His candidness and honesty with his own journey overcoming disability through a service dog is truly an inspiration to me. He is a force of nature.

For the first time in a long time, I feel like I am a part of a team again. I am really looking forward to the multiple K9care fishing and community events planned for this year.

When I think of Smoke now, I tend to smile and remember the good times I had with him. But, I don’t feel so lonely now, because I have Copper sitting right next to me, looking at me, telling me that it is a good day for a walk, or maybe some fetch.

To the trainers, volunteers, board members, and donors, thank you so very much. I am truly humbled by your generosity. This program has saved my life.

I was referred to K9 Care by a trusted therapist with whom I have worked with for the past few years. As a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and First Responder for over twenty years, the stressors of service had begun to take a toll on my mental and physical health. After being diagnosed with complex chronic PTSD, I confided in him that I felt I would benefit tremendously from a well-trained service dog. I had already reached out to several other nonprofits in the area who provided service dogs and was surprised by the lack of training and professionalism I observed from them and the dogs they were giving to other veterans. My therapist suggested that I contact K9 Care to see if I might be a good fit for their program. He said, "this organization is the real deal and recommended that I apply.
Earlier this year, I was selected to receive a Service Dog from K9 Care. Although it was a long wait; meeting my Golden Retriever Puppy Valkyrie for the first time made it instantly clear to me that this was an entirely different caliber of organization from the others I had researched. Excellent breeding, constant coordination, and support, and including the recipient in the entire process all help make this program incredibly successful. The leadership of K9 Care strike a great balance between providing support and independence while ensuring that I and other recipients receive the best dog (partner) possible. K9 Care went above and beyond by connecting us with a local trainer who provides support for both Val and I while ensuring that we remain compliant with all State and Federal ADA laws. Additionally, K9 Care has provided opportunities to fly fish the Missouri and hunt pheasants on the high-line providing opportunities for continued mental and physical wellness.
I chose the attached photo for a reason. It is a photo of my service dog Val and me at a Montana Grizzlies game. Just two years ago due to mental and physical health limitations I would have been unable to attend a game like this. With the help of Val and K9 Care, I was not only able to attend the game but actually enjoyed being in public again.
K9 Care isn't for everyone in need of a service dog, but for those whom the program is a good fit; they are the best I have found. Thank you K9 Care and Valkyrie for changing our life for the better.
With profound respect.

As Founder of K9 Care Montana , it has been an absolute honor and pleasure serving our disabled veteran community and special need children this last 15 years. I feel blessed to be in the position to make a positive impact on lives through the gift of the dog. Dogs are a gift from our creator to remind us we are never alone. It is upto us what we do with that gift. I am living proof of the benefits service dogs provide. Assisting us in living more independent lives without judgment or scrutiny. This continues to give my life purpose and with the blessings of God it will continue for many years to come.

I am an older Veteran, Vietnam era. I have anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I have had a dog, all my life. I lost my last dog after 11 years. My mental health counselor recommended I get my next dog from K9 Care Montana. I contacted David Riggs and my life has changed for the better. David listened to me and my concerns. He paired me with Clover, a English Cream Golden Retreiver. She has been wonderful. She has been a great companion. Training her has been fantastic. We have bonded. Clover keeps me calm in stores, restaurants and in crowded situations. She accompanies me almost everywhere, something my other dog could not do. The training also gives me something to concentrate on besides my worries. I am grateful to David Riggs and K9Cares for the great program and Clover. In my opinion this is one of the best programs a veteran could participate in, It helps relieve anxiety by using a professionally trained companion.

K9 Care Montana has been such a blessing for me and my family. They found a fantastic dog in a breed that I wanted (German shepherd) and thought would best serve my medical needs.

I am very pleased that they vet the person to ensure the dog goes to a good home and that the need for a service dog is warranted. They also vet the lineage of the dog to ensure a healthy animal that will be able to do everything asked of them. The process is long, but worth it.

We received Macy Mae our 'gift from Above' back in 2022. She was just the cutest little white fluff ball back then! I immediately was able to 'breathe' again, if you have PTSD and TBI and / or severe anxiety you get what I mean. The calm Macy brings to my inner chaos is so powerful!

I am now able to take myself to most of my doctor's appointments and even go on little adventures, exploring nature spots around town.

Macy has grown into a beautiful dog and she attracts a lot of attention everywhere we go. This attention, generates conversation amongst lots of interesting people. I used to fear people, as I no longer trust human contact for the most part. Macy has taught me / reminded me that not everyone is malicious.

The beginning of this year my health had changed drastically and my mobility has become compromised. Macy has had to go back under David's care for further training to learn to 'brace' and assist when I fall, helping me up, as well as stability for when I need a little extra when I'm walking and loose my balance.

Macy has impacted my recovery in life in every aspect possible! Physically, I'm out walking every morning, enjoying she gets the exercise she needs as refreshing both my soul and spirit. Mentally, I'm not sleeping the day away and fearing human contact. Spiritually, I've repented of my sins and asked God to guide me as I no longer feel the need to take my own life.

With Macy by my side, I've began planning for my families future together and it's quite lovely! I physically would not be where I am right now without the her as my battle buddy.

I am forever GRATEFUL for my husband, Aaron, our now Dear Friend- David Riggs, K9Care Montana and all of those that supports the mission that is K9Care Montana!

Our experience with David Riggs and the K9 Care Montana Agency has been nothing short of stellar!

A little background, my husband served 11 years active duty and was medically released, against his will, due to several failed surgeries from injuries experienced while deployed. He deployed 5 times in those 11 years. He now suffers from severe PTSD and is limited with his mobility.

I heard of K9 Care Montana thru Montana Wounded Warriors and put in an inquiry for getting a dog to help my husband with his mobility and PTSD disabilities.

David had been an AMAZING friend to our family since the first inquiry and he has gone out of his way several times for us. I am currently deployed and my husband is at home with our two very young children.

Our dog, Nala, is currently being trained by David and we look forward to being reunited with her and I personally look forward to seeing all David's hard work in action!

K9CM, founded by David “Dogman” Riggs and operated by his phenomenal team is such an amazing organization, it’s hard to describe in a few words. K9CM has been part of my family’s life for over 10 years now. I had a dog, Nala, and Dogman was my trainer. She was killed in front me by a UTV while up in the mountains. I was devastated beyond expression, and felt like I had failed her, Dogman and K9CM. I withdrew from the team out of shame. My wife was still Active Duty, and we moved several times before going overseas. I didn’t know she had remained in contact with Dogman over the years. As her own medical and mental health conditions flared up and got worse and worse, and we were looking for treatment and a way forward. K9CM was right there. In fact, they never left. Never gave up on our family. Now, my wife has a wonderful and fully trained service dog, Macy, which has been vital in her recovery and healing. We are not in MT right now (but trying to find our way back to it!) and the distance between us and the K9CM HQ is quite vast. That hasn’t stopped Dogman and his team from ensuring the top tier training my wife and Macy have received. I’m not sure how he does it, especially with the many other families and teams under the K9CM Family, but I’m grateful that he has and continues to do. I think the donors he finds are unsung hero’s. Whoever they are, I hope they know that they have made life saving impacts on several veterans- two in one family. Many thanks and eternal gratitude to K9CM, the trainers and staff!! ❤️

After more than 50 years losing friends, I have tried to take my life, because I came home, and they did not. And I have not seen a reason to live. I did not trust anyone, so I did not see the point. But then I found out about K9 Care Montana and the great work done for others. The answer to my prayer an angel came into my life SHE had a dog for me. Her name is Amy. David Riggs trained Amy for me. It gave me a reason to live. It was so bad in country, when I came back my DAD didn't believe me. Now I have Amy to talk to and thank GOD for David to give me a reason to live.

An answer to prayer. Our journey started with a chance encounter. The woman that was in line in front of me at Costco gave up her place in line to let me go first. That kindness started a conversation. She mentioned pups. I asked what kind? Then out of the blue, she said " I bred them for use in Service Dog programs." (here is our miracle) . I responded, my husband is a disabled veteran who can't find a service dog! Immediately Barbara said "he can have one!" Of course we needed someone to train our pup!
The other chance encounter was my husband Bob talked to a man that told him about K9 Care of Montana .We looked them up online and wondered if that would work for our beautiful Bernadoodle.
After a visit from David Riggs, founder of K9Care, and a long talk, we were accepted into the program. He commited to take Amy to his training facility . Long story, short David and his team not only trained her but treated her as part of the family!

We picked her up this week, took her on a plane and brought her to our new home! My husband Bob has PTSD and now mobility issues. Amy stays by his side to help with his anxiety. Because of the American Disability Act he can now go into stores, restaurants, and hotels while Amy stays at his side. She has been trained to heel when walking and "in" when he needs her extra close. She also keeps people out of his personal space. But the most amazing thing to me is whem Bob falls or needs extra help, he can tell Amy to "brace" and help him to get on his feet!!
Right now our little miracle is here in the front room telling us what a bright future we will have with her ! Many thanks for K9Care, David Riggs, teams and trainers who make this non-profit possible. And of course thanks to Barbara!! By the way, thanks David for training a "non-Lab" pup. Because you were willing to train a Bernadoodle we are blessed beyond measure!

I was homeless and helpless a couple years ago. 100% disabled Army veteran. By the grace of God and K9 Care Montana I’m now able to stand on two feet. David Riggs placed a service dog, Scout, in my life and I just feel so blessed! Scout is a GOOD BOY and we spend all day together. He helps me deal with every day stuff like going to the grocery store, WalMart, etc… I couldn’t do that by myself before because of my PTSD and anxiety. Thanks to K9 Care and Scout and I can venture into society again. Lots of folks stop me and ask about Scout and want to say hi to him all the time. I’m always willing to talk to them and to tell them about how K9 Care MT saved my life. God Bless David and K9 Care and all my fellow veterans!

In summer 2024, as an applicant for K9 Care’s service dog (SD) program, I was blessed to receive an invitation from David Riggs (Founder/CEO of K9 Care) to participate in a fly-fishing excursion with other Veterans and SD recipients. The outdoor program that Mr. Riggs orchestrated was a fantastic opportunity to get acquainted with him and with other SD program participants, and to obtain in-depth information about various facets of the SD program from those who know it best – and ultimately to ensure that the SD program is a good match for this applicant’s needs. It was also a chance to really understand the “Dogman” and to realize what an amazingly generous and selfless person David is as he helps others to face their challenges, to meet their disabilities with head held high, and to find means to overcome these challenges with help from a trained service animal. Anyone spending time with David will gain a tremendous appreciation for him and the service he provides to the SD recipients; of course, this time together also allows David to understand the potential recipient beyond just what’s on the application so that he may better tailor an individual’s program and select an animal to meet specific needs. I absolutely encourage anyone considering a service dog to apply, and if you receive an invitation for one of David’s outdoor programs then GO without hesitation! (Rest assured, these programs are designed to accommodate the applicant’s limitations after conversing with David about specific issues; they are intended to be low-pressure, enjoyable events as everyone gains greater understanding. Go, without concern, and become part of the K9 Care extended family.)

I have subsequently been accepted to the SD program (THANK YOU, DAVID!) and am excited to see how things unfold. I know that David will develop the very best solution and program possible, made even better by the time spent together on the fly-fishing trip and his newfound understanding of me, my personality, and my needs. It’s in the hands of the expert now and happily so. I know that participation in the outdoor program was absolutely invaluable for both myself and David, particularly at this time as he develops my specific program and we begin a journey together with my own service dog. My profound thanks to David and K9 Care!

Living with PTSD was a constant struggle for my boyfriend. Shadows held fear, crowds sparked anxiety, and everyday interactions felt overwhelming. Then, K9 Care Montana entered our lives, not just as a training program, but as a beacon of hope and healing. David is a true inspiration, and his encouragement and support have been constant throughout this process.

Our furry hero arrived in the form of an adorable mini Aussie, a furry whirlwind of a wagging nub and unconditional love. This pup became more than just a pet; she became my boyfriend's lifeline. With every gentle nudge and comforting presence, our Aussie helped ground him, offering a safe haven in moments of panic. It wasn't just about training, it was about forging a bond and creating security.

Ben, our dedicated trainer at K9 Care Montana, and David made all the difference. Their unwavering support and expert guidance went beyond technical instruction. They understood the invisible scars of PTSD and tailored the training to empower my boyfriend and me, not just our dog. Ben fostered a community of understanding and encouragement, where struggles were shared, victories celebrated, and hope always flickered brighter.

The impact has been life-changing. My boyfriend's confidence blooms with each outing. He smiles more easily, engages in conversations without hesitation, and ventures into the world with a newfound sense of security. Our pup, ever by his side, isn't just a service dog; she's a furry ambassador of courage, paving the way for a new life.

K9 Care Montana didn't just train a service dog; they ignited a light within my boyfriend, and by extension, our entire lives. They are more than a non-profit; they are a family, a sanctuary, and a testament to the transformative power of love and understanding.

David Riggs of K9 Care MT is like that really amazing friend that pops out of nowhere in your life when someone is needed the most. David is the caliber of person you want guiding you through the process of being connected with a service animal. David is knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, enthusiastic and also embodies that Montana spirit and charm of the west.

Those that have the fortunate chance to cross paths with him, truly get to understand the relationship that is created between the animal and human. We, the recipients, are taught what it means to be a caregiver for these animals. David makes this whole process easy. He cares for the person and the animal equally. The team at K9 Care has always made me and my family feel welcomed and cared for. I am on my second service dog in training and have been grateful for the the experiences and growth for us as a team. Learning and training alongside Star with Ben has been such an amazing experience. He one-on-one tailors our sessions having thought about my family, living, interests and makes relatable scenarios to guide and support me. I have grown so much alongside by having to focus and learn alongside my own healing. My dogs have been a mirror to me to show me, me. I have been able to take trips as a single mom with two kids through an airport knowing Jade was with me and I would be able to make it.

Her ability to help navigate through the airport and be with our unit leaves me speechless.

Grateful to be on 0 pharmaceuticals since 2015. Coincidentally 2015 is when I joined K9Care Mt. Mental health matters. There have many pieces to the puzzle, but K9 Care is a Pillar!

Although I am a newer recipient, my life has been impacted by this FAMILY for several years. Recently I have been BLESSED with Macy Mae, she is an absolute gem, a gift from Above!

Macy has brought so much joy into my life from the day I held her in my arms to foster her as a pup. Now as a trained service dog, she is able to help me mitigate my PTS symptoms and slowly incorporate myself back into society, knowing that she has my 6.

K9 Care Montana has provided quality food, care, training and love through this entire process. All of this is made possible by the support of those who believe in us that serve, or have served our GREAT county. Thank you!!!

After reading an article in "Raised in the West" magazine and learning about K9CareMontana, it just made sense for me to become involved with this nonprofit, with both monetary donations, as well as time spent volunteering. K9CareMontana has a very impressive track record of placing highly trained service dogs with deserving recipients and I feel that what the organization does is VERY important, certainly needed, and it is life changing. The passion and commitment of David Dogman Riggs is simply amazing. Despite weathering numerous challenges, he continues to move forward with the mission of meeting the needs of others. The success of K9CMT is due to Dogman's drive and enthusiasm and getting others "on board" with the cause. I will definitely continue to support K9CareMontana and encourage others to consider it as well.

I never knew going into yesterdays events how humbled I would feel at the end of the day. David Riggs does amazing things for these veterans. He is such a genuine person that truly cares about the veterans. I also can't say enough about how grateful the recipients of his service dogs are. In early 2021, due to increased isolation from COVID and attending school online, my 17 yo son who has Autism was increasingly lonely and depressed. The social anxiety he experienced was increasing; his ability to even walk down our street during daylight hours was nonexistent. His varied symptoms from Autism were getting worse and his ability to function was decreasing.

After reaching out to K9 Care Montana for help with getting a service dog for my son, David Riggs took the bull by the horns!

Akira (a beautiful and wonderful service dog in training) joined our family and has made such a difference in my son's life!! He now goes on walks each day in the daylight, holds his head high, and engages with people who invariably ask about his gorgeous puppy, he has Akira by his side each day during his online classes, takes Akira to the grocery store with him on his own, and as she jumps on his bed each morning my son wakes up with a smile on his face.
My son continues to gain independence, a sense of companionship, a deeply felt sense of being accepted and loved, self-confidence, an increased ability to be in public along with lessened anxiety, and his depression has all but disappeared - all due to having Akira by his side!!

Thank you K9 Care Montana, Inc. and David Riggs!!!!
You've made such a positive difference in our family's life.

~ Forever Grateful

David and K9 Care MT were a catalyst and stabilizing force in my recovery. I have been with Jade for 5 years. She was there and helped give me confidence to leave the house. She has helped me conquer so much as I continued to navigate a new normal. She is a constant in my life when there wasn't much consistency. I am grateful and inspired by David's organization. Always a reminder and encouragement and warm smile to stay in it. 5 years in, K9 care continues to support recovery in trying new things. I am so grateful for the time and effort in training and working with me and offering time out to reset on the waters with top notch Fly Fishing. Being out in nature, learning something new, I am grateful for the continued support.

I broke my brain from a fall in October of 2008 during a rappelling accident from a helicopter. Since then my life has been a living hell. A never ending nightmare. I have fallen through every crack that our government is supposed to offer to disabled combat veterans such as myself. At this point it’s just laughable how mishandled I have been and how much I have suffered due to lost benefits and poor medical treatment. David Riggs and K9 Care Montana are one of the very few highlights in my life and have been there for me far above and beyond their mission statement. I can’t say enough good things about this organization and their willingness to help me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm an Iraq veteran that served two tours and was shipped back stateside due to damage in my back. I have severe ptsd and traumatic brain injury along with depression and anxiety.

Joining K9 Care of Montana has helped me immensely. Its more than just getting a service dog at no cost. Once you are in its a family and David Dogman Riggs does whatever he can to help us succeed. When we have a get together its a group of people who have done the same stuff so brotherhood comes out of K9 Care.

My Service Dog in Training Samson has saved my life. In a moment of darkness thinking about him saved my life. He's there when I need to be cheered up or watching my back when I'm in a store. Samson knows when I'm worked up and he doesn't leave me alone. K9 Care provided me with a high quality dog with a personality that fits me perfect. If it wasn't for what K9 Care has done for me I guarantee I would not be here. K9 Care has helped give me my life back.

K9 Care Montana ~ David "Dogman" Riggs, where to begin.
After returning from multiple tours I was diagnosed with severe anxiety, hearing loss, suicide ideation and physical limitations from prosthetics in both legs and low back issues. So many of us who return continue to struggle to readjust, we become depressed and in many cases suicidal.
Joining K9CM and receiving the most awesome puppy ever my life started to change. Freedom is the name of my service dog. He helps me in so many ways. He picks up items I drop, he helps me negotiate stairs and "allows" me to go out in public. When I become withdrawn he comforts me and licks my tears when I sob.
Freedom, through K9CM, is completing his training and has changed my life in a very positive way. At the time I received Freedom, my life, my marraige, my ability to work were all suffering. Freedom has and continues to ground me. The positive effect basically saved me and my marriage. He is part of my family, we love him so much.
K9CM covered all costs associated with Freedom. I could not have received a servive dog if it had not been for generosity and love from the K9CM family. David Riggs is literally a life changer, he understands trauma, he understands pain and what it feels like to be on the ragged edge of life.
Nothing but respect to K9CM and David "Dogman" Riggs.

Navigating both the medical and educational systems has been complex and complicated. As the mom, I’ve shed many tears along the way. Her acceptance into K9Care Montana’s service dog program has been THE greatest gift to our daughter and then also to our family. K9 Care Montana provided a service dog to my daughter, who was diagnosed with autism. Her SD has given her a new sense of security, helping her deal with her anxiety and sensory issues, among other things. They are very attached to each other, which we feel was amplified since she got him as a puppy and they bonded so strongly within that first year. The process was so easy and David has been so accommodating to her needs, helping her whenever she had questions or a concern about anything! We love K9CM and are looking forward to having a relationship with them for years to come. We plan on becoming more involved with fundraising and helping wherever possible. Thanks K9CM!!

Dave is one of the most genuine people I have ever met, and I consider him family. As a member of the Army, though I am not a wounded warrior, I get to see firsthand the impact a service animal can have on a wounded warrior, and as such, I wholeheartedly endorse Dave’s program and his dogs. Over the years I have known Dave, I have had the pleasure of meeting dozens of dogs that he has placed in families of wounded warriors and children with autism, free of cost to the families. Every one of those dogs has impressed me with its temperament, training, and intrinsic desire to fulfill its role as a service animal. From the day we brought this angel, Dakota, home from Phillipsburg a year and a half ago, she has made a tremendous impact in the lives of my husband and I. We had seen the amazing work that David Riggs had done with other veterans, and when we were chosen to receive this amazing gift we were thrilled and nervous at the same time. Would she fit in with us? and our other dogs? Would we be able to train her right? Would we mess her up?

Dakota has made our house a home again, with laughter and entertainment. She has made it so that my husband is able to do so many of the things that had become "uncomfortable" doing. In the short amount of time that we have been blessed with Dakota; she has traveled with my husband on a boat, bus, plane; gone across the country; enabled him to start going to shows and begin working and attending events; and allowed him go places that he hadn't dared venture in years.

Dakota has become such an amazing member of our home. She fits in to our family, our "dog family" and our lives so perfectly I can't imagine life without her. She is strong, and smart, and funny. David has chosen such a noble profession and is so dedicated to all of his "clients".

Thank you David Riggs for making our lives that much better!!! We will always be here for you!!!

Having this puppy, who is loyal as can be, has meant the world my brother. K9 Care Montana did exactly what their website says, provide a high quality service dog to a wounded warrior in need. For some, these pets are the only thing that keeps them going. Thank you for all you have done, and continue to do for our nation's heroes that have sacrificed so much.

I have observed David Riggs for many years working with the Wounded Warrior Project and also autistic children. He breeds Labradors,, raises them, trains them according to the individual needs of the warrior and child. Then he DONATES the dog, free of charge, to the warrior or child. During the year, he holds numerous fund raisers in order to do this. Most individuals who train dogs for this purpose, either charge a large fee, or make it mandatory that the warrior or child's parents raise the money themselves. He feels the need to give back after suffering from a spinal cord injury when he was younger. He know the importance of a Service Dog to the healing process and the assistance the dog can offer He deserves this award more than anyone I know.

Thank you K9 Care Montana for donating a mobility service dog to my husband Keith (a disabled veteran). You've given Keith the gift of mobility through the service that Pintler provides him on a daily basis. He regularly catches Keith when he falls, helps him back up, makes sure he's ok, picks things up when he drops them, turns lights on to make sure he doesn't fall, keeps clear paths for Keith when in crowds, and protects his back.

Keith more independence, confident, less stressed knowing Pintler is there to help. He's able to go to public places, maneuver crowds, and travel more easily with Pintler by his side knowing that he's there to help. Pintler helps Keith more fully live life again and has brought incredible joy to our family.

Thank you David Riggs for founding K9 Care Montana and sharing your amazing dog training gift with us! You're providing families with autism and wounded warriors unmeasurable gift through the high quality and exceptionally trained service dogs and on going training that K9 Care Montana provides.

My son is autistic and is receiving a service dog from K9 Care MT. The change is language and confidence is huge with having the dog. We have been fostering Bridger since 7 weeks old, he is on now in training with David and we cant't wait to get him back. It amazes me how bounded the two of them are and we are looking forward to the future with him.

K9 care Montana has been a life changing organization for me. Before meeting David and receiving trooper I rarely left the house due to my ptsd and anxiety, now with trooper I am able to leave the house and know that he has my back when we do. If I ever fall he is there to help me up. Trooper is my battle buddy and David is the most sincere and giving person we have ever met. He truly cares about us wounded veterans. Thank you David and k9 Care Montana for giving me my life back!

I'm a recipient of a service dog from K9 Care Montana. My service dog has given back the ability to feel like I have a place in society. Prior to recieving my service dog Aspen I didnt feel comfortable and accepted by attending and or going places in the community. My service dog has helped me control the anxiety and the stress while out of my normal comfort zone. David Riggs from K9 Care Montana is an amazing person and his organization has not only changed my life but also the lives of my fellow veterans and their families.

Where do I begin to describe K9 Care Montana? This organization not only raises, trains and gifts service dogs to Wounded Warriors, they provide support and friendship for life for the soldier, his service dog and his family. K9 Care Montana gifted a phenomenal service dog named Trooper to our eldest son who had lost his quality of life due to physical and mental injuries he developed during his 5 deployments. It's almost miraculous how Trooper and K9 Care Montana have given a lot of that quality of life back to him! I can't even begin to thank them for giving Trooper to our son AND for giving us our son back!! We will forever be indebted to this amazing organization!!
