Programs:
- Jubilee Urban Service Programs: Each fall, Jubilee gathers a new class of young adults (ages 21-29) from across the United States to live in intentional community and work for change in some of Los Angeles County’s most innovative and effective social service agencies.
Our mission is to raise up a new generation of change leaders for the world–individuals who will spend their whole lives working to advocate for peace and justice for all people. Our Urban Service Programs prepare young adults to become such leaders.
Jubilee’s inclusive and diverse service programs provide personal, professional, and leadership development to young adults of all upbringings, races, ethnicities, faiths, and non-religious backgrounds.
Our Urban Service Programs create leaders through a deep, sustained commitment to service. The Jubilee Urban Intern Program (JUIP) program focuses on personal and professional development while exploring and advocating for Social Justice in service sites across LA. Our Episcopal Urban Intern Program (EUIP) cohort serve at the same sites and in the same capacities while additionally studying and exploring the intersection of Social Justice with one’s Faith/Spiritual Life.
- Health Justice Program:Jubilee works with community members to promote health, offer alternatives to violence, develop leaders and train advocates. Committed to values of inclusion, dignity, justice and peace, Jubilee partners connect neighborhoods and communities with opportunities that encourage creativity, fitness, well-being, and active participation in shaping healthy communities. Health is understood as wellness at all levels personal, communal, and social.
