Met Cindy at an event in Wellington. She is so passionate for her cause, having lost her son. Instead of becoming introspective she has turned this into a rallying cry to help others know that suicide is not the answer. Very happy to be donating a bench in honor of my loved one also lost to suicide. Hopefully this will stop one person from hurting themselves. Joshs Benches is a big step in the right direction, showing that suicide is the end of an illness, not a selfish act that our loved ones wreaked on us. Keep up the good work Cindy, I am proud to be a supporter and now a friend also.

Josh's Benches for Awareness is an outstanding non-profit whose mission is extremely important and relevant right now. Unfortunately, suicide rates in this country are at an alarming high, and something more needs to be done to prevent suicide and promote mental health. Cindy, Victor, and their volunteers have poured an enormous amount of time and compassion into their Awareness Benches to let those who are struggling know they are not alone, and there is help out there! Please support them!
