Causes: Disaster Aid, Disaster Preparedness & Relief Services
Mission: The jetty rock foundation runs 4 major events, focuses on the youth future leaders of our community, and also creates a safety net for those within the community that fall down and need assistance. In many cases we help cancer patients since the disease is so widespread, but we also pay attention to hunger, environmental, and educational issues.
Programs: Hop sauce festival - 15000 was donated to our oyster recycling program, putting oysters back into the barnegat bay to improve water quality as well as to research oyster reefs, mortality, habitat and sustainability in conjunction with stockton university. 5000 was donated to the borough of beach haven toward a park / beautification. The remaining funds raised were used for oyster recycling program expenses such as design, website, and marketing.
