Causes: Group Homes, Human Services
Mission: This organization offers charitable services to the mentally and physical adult persons. The mission is to provide a livable facility with daily activities and protection for the mentally and/or physically challenged adult men and women of charlotte county florida.
Programs: Fifteen mentally and/or physically challenged adult men and women that lives full time in a group home setting. The residence are provided with all the necessities of home life, including but limited to shelter, quality meals, companionship, socialization and spiritual love.
in addition the fifteen mentally and/or physically challenged adult men and women within the group home. Other persons outside the group home who are also mentally and/or physically challenged but who lives within the community are provided with companionship services daily from one to seven days a week. These persons are able to live as normal a life as possible while enjoying the companionship and interaction with others.
the full time residence and daily companionship recipients, are taken out into the local community to interact with the general public. They area also given the opportunity to make overnight trips to cultural, educational and entertainment places outside of the local community. These outings provide them an opportunity to gain feeling of self confidence and self worth.
in addition to the sixteen mentally and or physical challenge adults within the group home, the service of transportation and companionship activities is provided to other qualified persons living in and around the county area.
