Mission: The international wildlife trust is dedicated to combatting wildlife crime, including protecting wildlife from poaching, with a focus on protecting elephants, rhinos and other endangered species. The international wildlife trust was created because potential donors to the trust have identified that there is an unmet area in utilizing novel strategies in combatting wildlife crime. These donors have the potential to provide donations to the trust in support of its efforts. There is a lack of enforcement and prosecution worldwide for wildlife crime. As a result, there is currently a lack of risk of being prosecuted for organized crime syndicates involved in flouting these laws.
Programs: No programs have begun as of 12/31/2016
