Causes: Environment, Environmental Education
Mission: Educate and inform the public with regard to the conservation of marine and coastal resources, and to perform related research, using expedition, policy discussions and other educational activities and to carry on other charitable activities associated with this goal as allowed by law.
Programs: In 2014 inmer held a smaller event to celebrate the summer solstice in santa barbara, ca and continue to work towards momentum for a larger event in future years. Over 30 participants gathered for a sunrise celebration as one chumash tomol landed on the beach. Throughout the morning participants were invited to paddle the tomol and immerse themselves in this powerful maritime cultural experience.
