("iu health ball memorial hospital") is a 360-bed full service hospital that offers a broad range of services to care for its patients without regard to their ability to pay. Iu health ball memorial hospital serves as a destination health facility for the residents of east central indiana, and is home to medical specialties including oncology, cardiology, orthopedic and sports medicine, and specialized women and children's services. Iu health ball memorial hospital's clinical staff of more than 400 physicians, representing more than 45 medical specialties, serves patients, without regard to their ability to pay, in a warm, healing environment designed to enhance the healing process. Iu health ball memorial hospital is home to the largest graduate medical education teaching program in indiana outside of indianapolis offering family medicine, internal medicine and transitional residency programs as well as a medical research department.
