Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The rio grande valley chapter of independent electrical contractors, inc. (known as iec) offers independent electrical contractors quality educational programs, information and services to assist them in the electrical field. Training is provided for high school graduates that are employed by independent electrical contractors. The program is a four year educational program supported by the contractors' dues. At the completion of the program the students will be journeyman electricians. Iec also provides continuing education for licensed electricians.
Programs: Iec provides the education necessary for apprentice electricians to obtain a journeyman electrician licence.
