Mission: IMPOWER Atlanta endeavors to transform communities through empowering, engaging, and educating under-served single mothers and their children by providing programs, resources, and support that enhance their quality of life.
Results: Through IMPOWER Atlanta's highly personalized programs, we have serviced over 2200 women and children since 2009. Since inception, the D.O.V.E. program has touched the lives of 1042 girls in high schools across Atlanta, with 100% of D.O.V.E. participants having graduated from college, attendance rates have soared, and participants have matriculated into college at a rate of 80%. CollegeBOUND Atlanta, launched in 2010, has serviced 385 high school students with college planning workshops and campus tours since it's inception, with all Senior participants having enrolled in college, receiving over $300,000 in scholarship funds, including the Gates Millennium Scholarship.
