Mission: To enrich the quality of life throughout idaho. Icf offers ways for donors to support a cherished cause, community or organization now and forever, and a streamlined grant process that provides financial support to nonprofit projects and initiatives.
Programs: During the year, 29 different community improvement funds focused on various projects. These funds are non-endowed and intended to fund a community group or create a community project over a short-term period. Projects include building parks and other public projects, promoting education, social services, arts & culture, recreation, health, environment, and conservation.
more than 700 organizations operating primarily within the state of idaho were the recipients of grants. Over 1,600 individual grants were awarded to provide support for general operations and specific projects. Of these more than 500 were awarded for social services, more than 300 to education, over 150 for arts & culture and over 120 for health. The remaining grants were for libraries, projects, recreation, emergency services, conservation and environment.
169 educational scholarships totaling $366,144 were provided directly to educational institutions for the benefit of specific individuals. These scholarships were awarded through competitive programs. An additional $149,325 was granted to two institutions to provide scholarships to their students as determined through their own scholarship programs.
