Mission: Emergency communications programs: assisted over 150 humanitarian and mission organizations with correct information on global communications, remote internet access, and other technologies in support of field teams. Supported numerous relief teams responding to the south asia tsunami, hurricane katrina, darfur and other crises in africa, and the 2005 asia earthquake. Over 800 hours of volunteer time were donated to support emergency relief activities.
Programs: Assisted and advised over 200 international aid, development, relief, and capacity building teams in africa, asia, south america, and other regions. Provided help-desk support by responding to inquiries from nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations. Delivered current and useful information on information and communication technologies(ict) on a web-accessible knowledge base and by phone and email. Over 500 hours of volunteer time were donated to support these services.
