Programs: Hospice of heart provided hospice care to 60 patients and their families during 2010 patient care days were 5801 approximately 66 percent were indigent patients the other patients had a payor source from medicare medicaid or private insuranc e in addition47 volunteers contributed 811 hours of their time during 2011 and this has been valued at 2023394 per the volunteer logs volunteer time includes patient visits office work yard work maintenance and other public relation duties
