It was such a rewarding experience getting to volunteer with this program. Not only is it incredible to witness the connection and awareness between the horses and the program participants, but seeing the direct results and the effect that this process has on both children and adults' lives is overwhelming. The therapists are absolutely focused on the development, physical, emotional and social, the experience will offer the participant. A truly amazing experience.

Mission: HorsePlay Hippotherapy & Therapeutic Riding, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit based in Conway, AR. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children with special needs. Qualified and licensed professionals utilize the unique qualities of the horse's movement to make functional improvements related physical, occupational, and speech therapy goals.
Results: HorsePlay has logged nearly 800 hours of volunteer efforts and has provided over 300 individual therapy sessions using the power of the horse to positively impact children with special needs. HorsePlay is proud to offer speech therapy at AHA Level 1, physical therapy at AHA level 2, and occupational therapy at the highest, nationally recognized level of Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS), the only current registered OT in the state of Arkansas.
