I began working with Karen Bailey of Hope Academy in September 2012. I am so impressed by the dedication, passion that she and the board of Hope Academy have for helping children that are disadvantaged and academically at-risk. The students have many challenges to overcome: economic, behavioral, emotional and learning disabilities. With the highly specialized teaching methods that are used, these children not only begin to learn academically-but also gives them HOPE! Hope for a future full of dreams of the possible. With the focus on Christ-centered living, small family-like class structure, these kids learn to thrive academically, spiritually, and become community leaders in some of the most difficult neighborhoods in Lancaster City. I highly recommend supporting Hope Academy.
