I've been volunteering on the board of Homeless Childrens Network for several years now. They are an amazing organization. April Silas the Executive Director is the warmest, most loving person you can imagine, and the culture she creates at HCN reflects that ten times over.

Despite repeated cutbacks by the city for helping children and families grapple with the trauma of being homeless, April and HCN have continued to win contracts with the city because of their amazing ability to adapt the services they provide.
