Mission: Hhck is a statewide coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to ending homelessness and increasing decent, affordable, and supportive housing options for kentuckians through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
Programs: Americorps: assist, motivate and empower homeless and very low-income kentucky families and individuals to fund and keep housing that is safe, decent, and affordable to them, and to further strive to empower kentucky communities with an ethic of service that will sustain them.
samaritan housing program: a permanent rentral assistance voucher program targeted specificially towards kentucky's chronically homeless individuals who have a documented disability.
housing now program: a permanent rental assistance voucher program targeted specifically towards kentucky's homeless individuals and familiies.
other programs carried on by hhck include vista, which builds the capacity of organizations in kentucky communities that carry out programs that alleviate poverty. Tssi, which provides rental assistance to the homeless and costs for operating the grant. Remaining funds are spent on administrative support, advocacy grants, and other miscellaneous programs.
