This organization has been a part of the community since the 1970s! They have gone through many changes in their nearly 50 years of existence, but have always had a great impact on the community.

This is a wonderful place to be. Management truly cares about clients and staff. They work hard to ensure a safe, happy, and overall great life for the residents being cared for. Staff are praised and recognized for the enormous amount of hard work they do. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The director works with passion and purpose. The residents are amazing people to be around.
Home Life has undergone many changes the last few years, and I've seen the team really dig in and make positive change. And they did this despite all of the challenges a pandemic threw at them, which were many! What I love about this organization is the focus on people - those it serves, as well as employees. The new director leads with heart and is setting the path for a sustainable future.

I agree with the other review. A lot of the workers are great, but the management is terrible. Ethics are a joke. Managers date employees, clients are treated like friends being invited to parties and personal outings, abuse reports are discouraged if the person being reported is popular. A coworker reported abuse and gotten written up because people talked about it too much and someone told the person reported which is totally illegal. Then he got fired after complaining about a new manager sexually harassing people. The new manager got to keep his job even though he's terrible at his job not to mention the sexual harassment. This is typical though. If youre a manager or a friend of a manager you get to do whatever you want. The management of this organization is so shady. They care about money and not having to deal with problems like abuse and sexual harassment. They only care about clients and the people who care for them if they quiet and just accept whatever they get which is way less than they deserve.

This comment does not reflect the effort, care and culture that our new leadership team has worked hard to create. We have processes in place to handle work place grievances and complaints and we take any complaints related to sexual harrassment very seriously.

I would be incredibly cautious about allowing this organization to take care of a loved one, especially a loved one who has trouble advocating for ones self. from my experience of working here for many years I have came to realize that this organization is all talk and no walk when it come to client care. And on top of that upper level mangement has constantly failed to act on reports of mangent abusising their power and on top of that they have little regard for the clients. An example of this is: I called into the main office a few weeks ago to talk to management about keep a client at the house I work in because of it was clear that they enjoyed living there. I was told that I was "over advicating" for the client and that the mangement was moving her to another house because they would recieve more money from the state if she was living in a house with less people. I personal think that responce to a care taker expressing a clients wants to mangement is un acceptable especially since there had been issues with neglect previously when the client was living at a smaller house.
