Truly, I have never met a more dedicated bunch of people as the volunteers at Holy Spirit Farm and Horse Sanctuary. They work with the animals with such care and love. Every time my husband and I visit the farm it is apparent how much love these people have for the creatures they have rescued and to whom they give a wonderful existence at the sanctuary. I have fallen in love with a beautiful horse named Sugar, a wonderful Percheron mare who was abominably neglected before she arrived at the farm. My husband and I plan to visit her often, even though we live about an hour's drive away. The staff is always looking for volunteers and a monetary gift would also not be unwelcome. The farm's property is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, any animal would feel peaceful in such surroundings.
