Mission: HMI, founded in 1984, was designed to train prospective missionaries to be more relevant to today's mission field which is poor and urban. HMI provided "hands-on" experience to these future missionaries utilizing Paterson, NJ which resembles most "two-third" worlds cities. HMI ministers at four levels -- providing emergency relief...training and development...access to employment...and civic reform.
