Scotty and his team at the Centre for Emergency Health Sciences are a national asset for all fields of medicine -a bold statement but a truthful statement. His practices should be included in the educational model for all EMS and Nursing fields. He applies real-world knowledge with the support of his own experience, the DoD, and others to apply them to a learning management system that is second to none. I witness eureka moments occurring with our students and staff in attendance all the time from his creative and engaging lectures. Scotty and his team have been instrumental in our trauma education success on a State of Georgia level with his cadaver education and application of life-saving interventions either virtually or in person. This success trickles down to the bedside level and we have seen a positive trend in our region based on his education.
Great staff providing evidence-based cutting education for all levels of prehospital and emergency medicine. Not only are they teaching techniques that are cutting edge, they are performing the research to contribute to the general fund of knowledge.
The Centre offers valuable and unique experiences for our physician and advanced practice providers to learn and improve on their procedural proficiencies in critical care. The Centre staff has been collborative and critical to the educational efforts to our learners with interosseous and intravenous access. The staff are flexible and supportive to our objectives. Great resource to our medical community!
I work for an air ambulance company and we do training at the HIS Centre a few times a year. From the first day we stepped foot into the building, Scotty, Jen and all of the team do everything in their power to make sure we give the best education possible to our clinicians. They are professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable, and always step in to do education in areas that they excel in, and to make sure our clinicians leave with a better understanding of anatomy, and procedures so that they can perform exceptionally when needed. I have honestly become friends with every one of them, and I have the upmost respect for them. We look forward to having a fantastic professional and personal relationship with this team for many years to come.
We have worked with Scotty Bolleter and his team at the HIS Centre for many, many years. I am always delighted with the professionalism of the leadership and the staff. They are responsive, efficient, cheerful and fun to work with! The feedback we get from attendees is always excellent -- they love the content of the courses and the way the material is presented in an understandable and accessible way. I can't rate the HIS Centre highly enough -- I wish I could give ten stars!
The Centre is nothing short of exceptional. The combination of deep expertise, an extensive portfolio, and good people make the Centre truly special. My organization partnered with the Centre to develop novel surgical education content. Scotty, Jennifer, and the rest of the crew have gone above and beyond in every way. Their enthusiasm and creativity is something to behold. I am also also unaware of any organization like the Centre who is doing this kind of work at the same high level and at the same high volume. I cannot recommend the Centre enough and look forward to their long-term partnership.
Scotty and the team at the HIS Centre are incredible. They provide an experience to students that no one else in the area can. The ability to learn through the respectful dissection of a donor cadaver is profound and life changing. The life lessons that the sharing of wisdom from the HIS Centre team is a key part of all of our summer programs successes and I am so honored and grateful for their partnership. They provide a meaningful, memorable and life changing experience.
The Centre for Emergency Health Sciences is a tremendous asset to the medical community. Mr. Bolleter and his staff provide exceptional and professional support to the surgeons training in the Centre. The facility, supplies, and equipment provided create a realistic operating environment. The H.I.S. Centre provides such a high level of service that it is used by training courses of the American College of Surgeons.
The HIS Centre and Team are absolutely amazing! Their professionalism, skill, commitment, efforts, community programs and desire to make others better is second to none. Top notch programs and people!
The focus of preparing emergency responders for their jobs is outstanding. The entire staff focuses their efforts on ensuring medically accurate, historically pertinent, prehospital training that advances both trauma and medical aspects of patient care. I personally had the opportunity to attend training there previously and now my entire team is reaping those educational benefits as well and is by far the best training that I can send them to in the local area. On top of that, the training is so well known for it's accuracy and usefulness that I had no issues getting the training approved for continuing education hours within our agency guidelines. I highly recommend seeking out training with the HIS Centre if the opportunity or possibility ever presents itself.
