Nonprofit Overview
Mission: There are approximately 5,000 jewish students in broward and palm beach counties. Hillel operates and maintains a facility to serve the jewish cultural, educational, religious, and social needs and interest of the jewish college students by fostering a rich, diverse, jewish environment on campuses within the geographic area of broward and palm beach counties.
Programs: Hillel provides regular shabbat dinners to students at five universities in south florida. Hillel provides social, educational and career development services to three major graduate disciplines: the jewish law student association, the jewish psychology student association, and the jewish association of health and medical students. Hillel also provides cultural programs relating to the state of israel and its communities.
