Mission: Our mission is to create opportunities for better lives through christ-centered service.
Programs: Community development in the form of providing basic human needs, such as food, clothing, rent and utility assistance, educational scholarships, medical expense assistance, a life skills class, womens support groups, and transportation to medical appointments in a very poor area of appalachia. A few of our ministries include a youth program with organized summer recreation, youth sports teams, tutoring, after-school programs, provision of school supplies and an annual christmas party for community children; a senior center that meets three days a week and provides hot meals, commodities and fellowship to senior citizens; a community food pantry; a maternal infant health outreach worker program and baby pantry; a community library; two thrift stores; and a store for local artisans to display and sell their crafts.
to provide home repair and construction to families in a very poor area of southeastern kentucky and northeastern tennessee, using volunteer labor and funds from around the country. In 2017, we utilized approximately 1800 volunteers and donated financial resources in our mission outreach program, repairing several homes and building one complete new home. In addition to the community projects, several campus projects were completed.

Some of these ministries include a greenhouse which provides plants and seeds to the local community and local retail outlets at a reasonable price, an animal program including cattle and goats to provide food to local residents and cash flow to support the ministries of the settlement, and a wood program to provide fire wood for heating the homes of local residents with wood-burning devices.
