Causes: Human Services, Personal Social Services
Mission: Our purpose is to provide feminine hygiene products to homeless, low-income, and at-risk people in the mid-michigan area. We provide tampons, pads, pantyliners, wipes, and bladder control products to 90 charity partners in ingham, eaton, clinton, and shiawassee counties. These partners include homeless shelters, food banks, after school programs, and 16 junior and senior high schools.
Programs: In 2017 we provided 370,000 items, enough product to cover the menstrual needs for 1000 women for an entire year, or 12,000 periods. That is up 35% from 2016.
