Causes: Food, Food Programs
Mission: To provide free food to the homeless those living in shelters and families under the poverty level
Programs: Helping hearts receives from restaurants and grocery stores food which would otherwise be thrown in the trash and distributes it to the needy and homeless through soup kitchens. Most of the operational costs are funded by the founders ray and erica chavez through loans to the charity. A salary has been accrued for raymond and erica for their services but no actual disbursements to them have been made.
