Mission: Provide care for terminally ill patients in their home.
Programs: Cared for terminally ill patients; kept them comfortable and pain free in their homes until death. Used various types of medical equipment & provided paid skilled and unskilled nurses and aids to care for their needs. Provided caregiver respit, as well as, social and spiritual care before and after the patients death. Trained volunteers who also brought food, sent cards, and delivered bereavement literature. Held annual memorial services and special fundraising events managed by the volunteers. Provided continuing education for nurses, aids, and volunteers. Maintained office, opened every weekday.
