Mission: Formerly known as syracuse behavioral healthcare, helio health is dedicated to transforming the lives of those struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Derived from the ancient greek word for sun, "helio" reflects our mission to be the innovative bright spot on the recovery landscape. Unlike many other providers, helio health is dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of addiction and mental illness. This includes general healthcare, housing services, training and family support. It's a comprehensive approach that we believe leads to a more successful transition to a life of healing, hope and recovery.
Programs: Inpatient rehabilitation services - program provides intensive programs for people who need to begin recovery within a highly structured, supportive environment, and is staffed with medical and counseling professionals dedicated to quality inpatient care. 832 people served with 13,549 units.
outpatient services - are designed to support and reinforce recovery from addictions though our chemical dependency and family programs. 1,631 people served with 73,387 units.
rochester evaluation - for clients in need of detoxification, who are looked at medically and start on a path of recovery. The center has 15 medically supervised beds and 10 medically monitored beds. 1,875 people served with 8,364 units.
