Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward has been an outstanding non-profit helping mothers, fathers, babies and families for almost 3o years! Their grass roots approach does an incredible job of meeting the real needs of more than 5,000 pregnant and parenting families every year. I am touched by the stories of brave moms and courageous dads trying to make life better for their little ones. I am proud be a co-founder and consultant to HMHB and encourage everyone to support their meaningful work in our community!

Causes: Human Services
Mission: Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Broward has been a community leader in providing services to pregnant women, teens, and families for more than 20 years. We provide access to prenatal care, education, advocacy, and public awareness for all families in Broward County, but most specifically for those who are unable to afford private care.
Programs: Two major divisions of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County are (1) Prenatal Infant Health Division and (2) Infant Mortality Division. The Prenatal Infant Health Division includes the following programs: Healthy Start, Closing The Gap Pre/Interconception Women's Wellness, Teen Collaborative, Healthy Families, and Maternal Depression. The Infant Mortality Division includes the following programs: Fetal Infant Mortality Review, Forget Me Not, and Cribs for Kids. More than 4,000 Broward County families benefit annually from the services provided by HMHB of Broward.
