I worked at the Health First Foundation Northern Arizona for seven months as an intern, and it was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences I've ever had. It is clear that every at Health First comes to work with the goal of making the Northern Arizona region a better place for all of its inhabitants. Not only does Health First provide grants for essential programs in the region, but they also provide scholarships to students going into medical-based studies. Health First is an amazing non-profit and I cannot say enough good things!
This foundation is truly spectacular.
They award grants on a fair basis, and thoroughly care about the community projects that they fund.
I enjoyed every step of the process, including the awards ceremony that portrays the foundation's year end report and spotlights the nonprofit organizations that they support.
